My daughter loves lions, and so I decided to make her one. We decided to name him after one of her favorite rappers because, unfortunately, he won’t be making too many more appearances on the hi-fi in the foreseeable future. Gabrielle made the mistake of looking up his profile on the wikipedia—the morning after we gave him to Lucia, but it was too late. This pink ass lion was already Gucci Mane.

We started bringing Lucia to some of the playgrounds around town. She is pretty limited when it comes to actually using the structures at the playground, but it doesn’t bother her a lick.

Instead, she amuses herself by relentlessly offering us dried up old leaves.

But, she also enjoys spinning aimlessly through the towering pipes and tubes.

Here she is on her way over to give me a handful of wood chips. Ah, the joy!

Her questions still come out mostly like mumbo-jumbo, but I’m pretty sure she wanted to know how to get up to where I was.

This Noodle has been working on her ninja skills. It is clear from this photo that nobody wants to step to her on a playground bully tip!
